Thompson's Station Man Thrown From Car In Franklin Wreck, Shutting Down Road For Hours
A 38-year-old man was thrown from his car in a crash on Interstate 840 Friday morning near Franklin.

FRANKLIN, TN — Despite being thrown from his truck in a violent crash early Friday morning, a 38-year-old Thompson's Station man is expected to be OK. State troopers say Kyle Brust of Thompson's Station was exiting Interstate 65 on to Interstate 840 before 5 a.m. Friday when he crashed into a rock wall.
Brust, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His injuries are unknown, but the Tennessee Highway Patrol says he should survive.
The on-ramp was closed for more than two hours as investigators worked to determine what led Brust to lose control of his pick-up and crash at high speed into the wall. Early indications are that he may have been speeding through a curve.
