• Gatlinburg looks at new paving list (themountainpress.com) — Gatlinburg officials are weighing a plan to repave 3.33 miles of city streets next fiscal year at a cost that could reach about $809,600 if asphalt prices rise. The proposed list targets roads like Asbury, Cartertown, Cherokee Orchard, and several Mynatt Park-area streets, guided by a new AI-based road rating system that will reshape how often local roads get resurfaced. 
• Flyover bridge on Spur progressing (themountainpress.com) — Gatlinburg officials are weighing a National Park Service request for a small city land transfer tied to a new flyover bridge on the Spur, with a vote set for June 16. The project would replace the Wiley Oakley/Legion Field Bridge, add ramps, and improve safety along this heavily traveled corridor by 2027.
