• Hall sentencing hearing set for June; Jamestown pharmacist pleads guilty (ucbjournal.com) — A Jamestown pharmacist, Phillip Hall of Hall Family Pharmacy, has pleaded guilty to nine federal health care fraud counts and is scheduled for sentencing on June 12, 2026. Prosecutors say he submitted millions in false claims to government and private insurers between 2018 and 2024. Local residents may be watching closely as the court decides his punishment this summer.

• Marshall Edward Rosenbaum (davidsoncountysource.com) — Jamestown is remembered as the birthplace of Marshall Edward Rosenbaum, a devoted truck driver and Army veteran who passed away April 15 in Kingston Springs. Loved for his kindness, family focus, and decades on the road, he leaves behind his wife Shirley, four children, and a large extended family. Service details are still pending and will be announced later.
