At the same meeting, town leaders advanced a āfiscally responsibleā 2026 budget focused on continued growth, which still needs one more approval before itās final.

Payne, wanted in connection with an alleged aggravated assault and motorcycle theft reported Saturday. Deputies and other agencies searched overnight along Charles Humphreys Road, and residents are urged to call 911 or submit anonymous tips online with any information on his whereabouts. Ā Ā Ā
ā¢ JC Planning Commission advances Hopper Road annexation request (wjhl.com) ā Johnson City planners have advanced an annexation and zoning plan for 37 homes off Hopper Road, a route many Jonesborough drivers already use as a cut-through.
