• TSSAA releases final 2027-29 football classifications. Here's who moved (theleafchronicle.com) — La Vergne High's football team will no longer compete in Region play, instead playing a non-region schedule under the TSSAA's new 2027–29 classifications. The change follows La Vergne's previous status as a 6A program and could significantly alter future opponents and travel for local fans. Several other Middle Tennessee schools also shifted classifications.
