Smyrna Police: Woman Who Jumped On To I-24 May Have Killed Son
The body of the 25-year-old son of the woman who jumped to her death on I-24 was discovered Monday afternoon.

SMYRNA, TN — Smyrna Police believe the woman who jumped to her death from the Waldron Road overpass on to I-24 Monday may have killed her son before killing herself.
Investigators found the body of Jesse Heslep, 25, inside a home on Fairwood Court around 1:30 Monday afternoon. Heslep's 55-year-old mother, Lisa Heslep, died after she jumped off the Waldron Road overpass into the traffic on Interstate 24 below late Monday morning.
Smyrna Police say Lisa Heslep is a suspect in her son's murder.
