St. Louis Cardinals Fan Suspected In Franklin Robberies Pulls Off Similar Heist In Smyrna

A man keeps wearing the same St. Louis Cardinals t-shirt to break-in to cars at gyms around the Midstate and shop at local Targets.

SMYRNA, TN — Smyrna Police are searching for a car break-in suspect sharing the exact same MO and fashion sense as a man wanted in Franklin for a virtually identical crime.

Smyrna Police said the man broke into cars outside Gold's Gym and Planet Fitness and then used the credit cards from inside the cars to shop at Target. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

Last week, Franklin Police said they were looking for a man who broke into cars parked at the Planet Fitness location there, using pilfered credit cards to make purchases at the Cool Springs Target. The man wanted in both cases was wearing the same grey St. Louis Cardinals t-shirt.
