• Beef Heifer Development School May 21st in Lewisburg (cannoncourier.com) — Local cattle producers and students can attend a hands-on Beef Heifer Development School in Lewisburg on Thursday, May 21, at the UT Middle Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center on New Lake Road. The $15 field day runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with expert-led sessions, lunch included, and is followed Friday by a UT-bred heifer sale featuring about 95 TAEP-eligible heifers.
