• Blount County Sheriff's Office searching for vehicle that they believe hit, killed woman on bike in Maryville (wbir.com) — Blount County deputies are urgently searching for a dark-colored newer Dodge full-size pickup they believe hit and killed 70-year-old bicyclist Joyce Frey near Old Niles Ferry Road in Maryville Thursday morning. Investigators say it appears to be a hit-and-run and are asking anyone with information about the truck or driver to come forward as they work to determine what happened.
