Chancery Street and W. Main Street intersection, introduced Monday to improve turning space and lane alignment. Straight-through traffic toward S. Chancery is now reduced to one lane, while turn lanes from W. Main have expanded, prompting city officials to urge extra caution as everyone adjusts.
   

• McMinnville Police Arrest Man After Foot Pursuit, K9 Track (thunder1320.com) — Police in McMinnville arrested a 22-year-old man Thursday after he allegedly ran from a detective near Lonsvale Drive and was later tracked down by K9 Kane. Officers say they recovered a stolen handgun and charged him with evading arrest, theft, and firearm possession by a convicted felon, while also noting he had outstanding warrants and is wanted for questioning in a separate Grundy County case.
