Behavior Bear Cares

Have you introduced your children to Behavior Bear? You can wear me! You can read about me! You should talk about me! You can carry my books in my tote bag, fill it with colored pencils, crayons and other books, too and take me along with you!

Teaching our children to behave is an every day affair! Let's face it, kids don't come with manuals, but we certainly can program them to know what it means to behave. Something I've learned through the years is that when we say to our kids, "BEHAVE" they often wonder what that means? I said it to our kids all the time, "behave at your friends house" or, "behave when you visit grandma and grandpa" and while they often did, not I think, "what does that mean"

So, before it's too late, meaning your child has misbehaved, sit with them and talk with them about what it means to have good behavior. You can share that listening ears are part of good behaviors, sharing with friends is part of good behavior, being respectful and kind is part of good behaviors. A conversation will open up more conversations and questions and you are there to pour into them what you want them to learn, to know and how to grow in good character!
