Learn the Watusi, the mashed potato, the twist, and the pony to Wilson Pickett’s hit “Land of 1000 Dances.” Recorded at FAME Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the song—which went to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100—is recognized as one of Pickett’s greatest hits. Dance instructor Danielle Blackmon will teach participants the four dances mentioned in the song. No dance skills necessary.
