City officials say the information collected is protected by law and will never be shared with law enforcement or immigration agencies.

2020 is a census year, Nashville! The Finance Department wants to encourage all of you to participate. The more Nashvillians who get counted, the more federal funding we'll receive for our hospitals, schools, road repairs, and other important public services. Your census response is protected by law and will never be shared with law enforcement or immigration agencies.
