Fall Into Good Character

Not only is Fall my favorite time of the year, it's also a time to revisit your own character and how your children are falling into theirs! I'll be posting tips and resources for all nine of the Characters of Character, however, for now, check out the first three with Behavior Bear, Do'er Duck and Friendship Frog. We hope you'll implement these lessons and activities right in your home and carry them out into your own communities.

Our organization relocated here last October and we have met amazing people, seen beautiful places and continue to share our works with others. The goal is to have a space within the Nashville area to invite other organizations, home school families, classrooms and grade levels, families, youth organizations and more to engage in our lessons, activities and discussions on character building. After all, these kids today are the future of tomorrow. I'd like to share a testimonial from a few years back, just prior to covid when we would visit libraries, classes and community events. We hope to get back in there soon to continue making a difference in the life of a child. We love what we do and the impact these characters and messages have on our children, youth and families. Let's make the world better, together.

I received an email from a mom the night we did this class. This mom had thanked me for coming out to their library! On the way home from the class her daughter wanted to know more polite words, in their language. What a teachable moment for both! You see, I had read a story and we discussed what it meant to have good manners, the children shared polite words and phrases and we talked before we painted the character Manners Monkey. I love what I do, I think you will, too.

Reach out anytime to learn how you can bring us to your classroom or library. While we work on finding a space to call our own, we continue to empower however we can, our children are important, their character matters, and we, adults, are their role models. Let's teach them well.
