Family Of Drowned Nashville Woman Seeks Answers

The family of Aimee McCray, who drowned in Center Hill Lake, is trying to figure out what happened.

SILVER POINT, TN — The family of Aimee McCray, the 35-year-old Nashville woman who drowned in Center Hill Lake over the weekend, is struggling to find answers in her death.

Divers located McCray's body near a boat dock at Hurricane Marina in Dekalb County after a six-hour search Sunday. She was reported missing after her friends couldn't find her on the houseboat they were sharing Sunday morning.

Though the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency ruled her death accidental, her mother, Irene McCray, says something is not adding up, according the Fox 17.
