Man Breaks Into Nashville Bar For Early Drink, Trapped In Women's Restroom By Dog: Police

A 51-year-old man is accused of breaking into Pour House, pouring himself some drinks and then hiding in the women's restroom.

NASHVILLE, TN — Spotted on remote surveillance having some illicit drinks at a Nashville bar before opening time, a 51-year-old man was arrested Monday after being trapped in a women's restroom by a dog.

The owner of the Pour House on Eighth Avenue South called police after she saw a man drinking behind the bar via the surveillance system. As the bar was not yet open and state law prohibits customers from drinking behind the bar in any event, she called police.

When officers arrived, the man darted from behind the bar and toward the women's restroom and locked the door. A K9 officer and his partner forced their way into the restroom, and the suspect was "apprehended by the K9," according to an affidavit.

The suspect, Grady Little, was taken to Meharry General with a dog bite and arrested for burglary and vandalism, after the bar's owner calculated damages of nearly $5,000.

The arrested Grady Little is not the same Grady Little who is the former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox. Refusing to use the bullpen up three against the New York Yankees in the 2003 American League Championship Series is not a crime under Tennessee law.
