Meet My Friends

Music truly is a universal language. For me, it has always made my heart happy, filled a void and taught me some things.

As for our children, one of the first songs they probably learn is the alphabet song. And they need this as they grow and learn into preschool and elementary school, too. Well, we did a thing here at Characters of Character, we have our first 'theme' song, too! We're hoping it introduces your children to our characters and they learn about who they are and what their trait means.

There are nine Characters of Character and they all have published books,one book series for ages 0-5 called Come Learn With Me which includes a short social story on the trait and the alphabet for your children to learn and grow with, too. Each book also has a copy of the character, so, if your child has a favorite one, engage them, sing with them and teach them what it means to have good character. These are the leaders of tomorrow, our children attach to the 'character' cuteness in many cartoons, why not allow them to attach to their favorite character, too from the Characters of Character.

While the main project for our nonprofit is donating our Superhero Character building activity boxes to Children's Hospitals, the YMCA, schools and recently Fort Campbell, this will never stop. However, a few years back we had reached out for volunteers to write music for the characters to help tell their story. And, low and behold Claire Buchanan and Alissa Osborne who attended Belmont University volunteered and did just that! So, let us know what you think as we continue to make music, tell stories and empower our children and youth in these vital core values.
