Mayor Cooper today went into quarantine following a positive COVID-19 test result from his wife, Laura, who is currently not exhibiting any symptoms. Like thousands of Nashvillians, Mayor Cooper will follow CDC-recommended best practices. Mayor Cooper will work remotely as he quarantines at home.
Deputy Mayor Brenda Haywood will represent Mayor John Cooper at tonight's Metro Council meeting.
