Nashville Office Of Assessments To Close Friday, Sept. 4, To Prepare For Prorate and Reappraisal

Vivian Wilhoite, Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Assessor of Property, is notifying residential and commercial property owners that the Office of Assessments will be closed Friday, September 4, 2020 and will reopen Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

The Office of Property Assessor Mission Statement

To accurately identify, list, appraise and classify all taxable properties in an effort to achieve fairness and equity in values for the preparation of annual assessment roll in a timely manner, while educating property owners of the appraisal process and their options to appeal, as well as learn of available assistance programs.
