PENCIL links community resources to Metro Nashville Public Schools. Every quarter, they open their doors to teachers and allow them to ‘shop’ for free to help supplement their classrooms.

Our goal is to create, fulfill, and deliver our Affirmation Mindfulness Kits to PENCIL on or before October 1, 2023.

What if you don’t obtain 100% of your funding request? What if you exceed your funding goal?
One of the beautiful things about this project is that our kits can be fulfilled individually. That means if we don’t reach our goal, we can still fulfill kits. It just might be less than our initial goal. For ever $25.00 we raise above our goal will allow us to donate (1) additional kit! How cool is that?

What comes to mind when you think of community? Here at Characters of Character we think of our children, youth, families and schools. How can we build a firm foundation for our children and youth to develop strong civic values? Together is better, so, We have partnered with PENCIL to bring our Confidence Building activities to the Nashville Metro Schools. We need your support to do so. As a small nonprofit we need to raise funds to donate and YOUR donation will make a difference in the life of a child.
I find it ironic that our logo has been a pencil for so many years and hope that now we have found a home for our characters to bring resources to the community of Nashville! Learn more here.
