What a fun visual, Do'er Duck not included!! Characters of Character is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located right here in beautiful Tennessee! Originally from the Chicago area, we relocated here a few years ago and haven't looked back! However, we still have partners in the Chicago area who support our Children's Hospital projects!
Today though, we have a new partner, PENCIL right here in Nashville! Their purpose is to connect our teachers with resources available to them to improve, engage and impact their students and classrooms! We are proud to have this partnership as we a Mindfulness Confidence Building activity box to teach and reinforce self-esteem and confidence in our children and youth!
Our character Self-Esteem Elephant teaches this trait and has a message of "I Like ME" which we love to bring to our children and youth. When was the last time you asked your child, "what do you like about yourself?" You will be shocked at the look on their face first, haha, and then open the conversation, reinforce their strengths and encourage their likes! Hence, our character above Do'er Duck who teaches perseverance!
Our organization needs support to get these activity boxes to PENCIL and have begun to reach out to local business for donations and now we created this FUNdraiser where all proceeds will go to this project! Plus, YOU get a fun visual and conversation starter, too! You can learn more about the project on our website and you can purchase a tee shirt, or sweatshirt on Amazon!
