Metro Public Works is reminding residents that collection days for trash and recycling may be changing for residents in the Urban Services District (USD). Trash and recycling will be picked up five days a week (Monday-Friday), rather than four days a week (Tuesday-Friday). This new schedule goes into effect this Monday, November 2, 2020.
The department has sent letters to all customers in the USD informing them of their weekly collection day for trash, and their monthly recycling collection day. In addition, the department has launched a tool for customers to check their collection day. Customers should visit: RouteChanges.Nashville.gov to see if their day has changed.

Additionally, all curbside customers in the USD will see a change to how trash and recycling are collected after holidays. If trash and recycling collection days fall on a Metro Holiday, all collection days after the holiday in that week will be delayed by one day.
Residents with any questions are encouraged to first visit RouteChanges.Nashville.gov and if questions persist, contact hubNashville by visiting hub.nashville.gov or calling 311.
