Singer/Songwriter Tori Rose Releases Fiery Single “Your Loss”

Rising country singer/songwriter Tori Rose is showing off another side of her artistry with the release of her brand new single “Your Loss” today, Friday, August 23. Following the release of her autobiographical debut single “17,” “Your Loss” highlights Tori’s powerful vocals and fiery personality. This morning, the accompanying music video, shot at the Hi-way 50 Drive In Theater in Lewisburg, Tennessee, enjoyed an exclusive premiere on WSM Radio’s Coffee, Country & Cody as Tori visited the show live in-studio. “The storyline of my new song ‘Your Loss’ is about a break up, but I really wanted to make the theme of it more about self-empowerment. No matter the situation, breaking up with someone sucks and sometimes you can lose yourself in the process,” Tori shared. “That is why I wrote ‘Your Loss,’ to me it’s the kind of song you can scream your lungs to and remind yourself how much you're worth.”

In contrast to her debut single, which bolstered introspective lyrics and intricate melodies, “Your Loss” is a barn burner that reflects the type of music Tori was inspired by and hopes to continue to create. Backed by early support from Wide Open Country, The Academy of Country Music, Music Row, and others, Tori is rapidly building a dedicated fanbase. Performing throughout Nashville and beyond, including a recently announced slot providing direct support for Trace Adkins at the Blue Gate Theatre in Shipshewana, Indiana on November 8, Tori is setting her sights on more original releases in the near future.

Launching her career at the age of 12 after an impromptu performance at Pittsburgh's Hard Rock Cafe, Tori quickly booked up a plethora of gigs around her hometown area including a performance of the National Anthem at PPG Paints Arena ahead of the Monster Truck Jam tour. In the years since, Tori took to writing original music that has earned her slots at top festivals and writers rounds around the Southeast including winning Ole Red Orlando’s Battle of the Bands contest in 2021. Now 19, Tori has already begun carving out a niche for herself with her strong songwriting ability, bold lyrics and crisp, twangy vocals. With new music on the horizon and a fierce tenacity and determination, Tori expertly balances young-hearted romanticism with sophistication to offer a relatable quality that country music fans can latch onto.
