Suspected Midtown Shooter Caught On Tape
The alleged shooter in a robbery outside a strip of popular Midtown bars was caught on surveillance footage.

NASHVILLE, TN — Surveillance footage captured an image of the suspect in the shooting of a man outside a strip of popular Church Street bars early Saturday morning.
Metro Police working a car accident were approached by a witness at 2 a.m. saying there'd been a shooting on McMillan Street near Church Street. Responding officers found the victim shot in the head. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told police the victim and his boyfriend were sitting in a black Chevy Camaro when they were approached by a man who was let in the car ad who talked with them for 10 or 15 minutes before pulling a gun, pointing at the victim's head and firing.
The gunman fled on foot but K9 units could not track him because of the heavy foot traffic in the area.

The gunman is described as a black man, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, with short hair. He wore a black shirt, black shorts and white shoes. He also has tattoos on his face, including numbers under at least one eye.
