What Does A Friend Look Like?

Who has not met Friendship Frog? What! Why not? Friendship Frog is one of the nine Characters of Character teaching our children and youth strong civic values. I still remember our Girl Scout song, "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold" I am blessed enough to still have friends from fifty plus years ago. As I've aged, my circle is smaller, but I still have many friends of silver and gold.

As we prepare for the school year to come to an end, why not get your children a Friendship Frog composition notebook and let them collect 'autographs' from their friends to stay in touch with over the summer. They can be Pen Pals! Being involved in your child's life is important, and the earlier you do the more you'll learn who their friends are, you'll earn their trust and you'll help them navigate through this journey of life!
