What a weather week!

I have to laugh because my husband, daughter and I moved from Illinois two years ago to Tennessee thinking the weather would be great! For the most part it is! We've now been here through record breaking temps, the flood last year and not to mention the winds! All I can say is Chicago has nothing on ya'll!!! We know that it won't last as long as the cold back in the Chicago area which is what will get me through for sure.

So, what do you do with your kiddo's when the weather is rough and you're stuck inside for the most part? Characters of Character has a few ideas. Break out your crayons, a cup of hot cocoa and have conversations with your kids and create some fond memories.

The above activities are both great ways to introduce these vital core values and spark a conversation with your children, grandchildren or students. Below are some of our composition notebooks which are also great to be reminded to be of good character! Use as a communication notebook, at your next meeting, to practice writing, spelling words, sentences, etc. Heck, you can write down your favorite recipe! Gift your friends or child's teacher to introduce to them these characters, and together we will make a difference. A simple conversation goes a long way.

When was the last time you asked your child what they like about who they are and what they can do? Self-esteem Elephant is here to support you!
