Where is the Love for Valentine's Day

I believe this, and, I've devoted the past 18 years making a difference in the life of a child. Hi, I'm the creator and founder of Characters of Character NFP. This month, we celebrated 18 years as a nonprofit organization and it never gets old sharing vital core values with our children and youth. Our mission is to provide a firm foundation for children to establish strong civic values. And, it's not as hard as one might think.

One easy activity to introduce the character is on our Pen Pal blog. Choose a trait to introduce to your child. Talk about the trait with your child. Read books about the trait. Have visuals on the character and engage your child in conversations and activities to build their literacy, curiosity and imagination to have good character.

Another way, after you've introduced the character and the trait is to print out our Valentine's Day cards, we have some from a few years ago and we have new ones here. Talk about the character, the trait and color them, use as a Journal cover, a sticker chart and of course, Valentine's Day cards.

Finally, have you subscribed to our newsletter? They go out bi-weekly and there is always a FREEBEE Friday for you to print out resource(s) to support your journey in teaching vital core values. While the world around us is constantly changing, our values should always be in tact, doing the right thing, making good choices and helping others, and being a role model.
