Who Struggles With Kindness

Truth be told, there are days when kindness is nowhere in sight, and days when it just surrounds you. But, kindness should be a habit in all of us, young or old, being kind, teaching kindness, modeling kindness, using kind words, acts of kindness, there are so many ways to see, feel and be kind.

Our character Warm-Hearted Walrus teaches our children and youth what it is to be kind with an activity book, social story, early learner book (series) and much more. There are tips on our blog.

I promise you that it is not that hard to be kind and to find kindness. It all begins with YOU.

First, have a discussion with your children what kindness means. What does it look like? Perhaps opening the door for another person? What does kindness sound like? Perhaps a lovely compliment? What does kindness feel like? Love.

Characters of Character created a Travel Pals Blog where you can print out the characters and take them along where you go and use as a visual reminder to your children to be on the look out for kindness and if you don't see, then be it!
