• Impact Plastics among Unicoi industrial businesses pushing to rebuild two years later (wcyb.com) — Businesses in the Unicoi County Industrial Park, including Impact Plastics, are still rebuilding two years after deadly flooding from Helene, but every company chose to reinvest locally. Employment has climbed back to about 60% of pre-flood levels, and leaders project even more jobs than before by 2030 as firms modernize operations and work to regain and expand their customer base.
