2021 Presidents' Day Closures And City Service Schedules In Arlington

Many local government administrative offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, for Presidents' Day. Regular hours will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Garbage and recycling pickups will occur in Arlington on Monday, Feb. 15, as regularly scheduled.

Locations marked with an asterisk below are currently closed to the public due to COVID-19 public health concerns. For more information about what facilities are open or temporarily closed during the coronavirus outbreak, please visit www.arlingtontx.gov/coronavirus.

What’s Open Monday, Feb. 15

• The Beacon Recreation Center, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Elzie Odom Athletic Center, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• East Library and Recreation Center, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (library services at The East will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
• Arlington Tennis Center
• Lake Arlington Operations

• City Office Tower
• Arlington Municipal Court
• All Arlington Public Library branches (except library services at The East, which will be open 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.)

Holiday Garbage and Recycling Schedule: Garbage and recycling will not be picked up New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
