Longtime Arlington resident JJ Lindmark and visitors from nearby cities raved about the joyful atmosphere and say the traveling team is a must-see whenever they swing back through North Texas.
   

2. UTA to reimagine Central Library mall green space with survey (theshorthorn.com) — UTA is asking students, staff, and Arlington residents to help shape a major redesign of the Central Library mall green space through a quick online survey. Planned upgrades include more shade, better seating, and reduced Cooper Street traffic noise, with construction expected to start next year and last about a year. Longer-term campus plans envision extending the green space across Cooper and adding new courtyards and academic buildings.
   

3. The Undertaker Revives His Deadman Persona During A Special Public Appearance (savannahherald.com) — Fans at Globe Life Field in Arlington got a surprise when WWE legend The Undertaker revived his Deadman persona during a Savannah Bananas game, complete with smoke, druids, and his trademark gestures. The 61-year-old Hall of Famer delivered the closing Banana Ball and briefly stepped back into character, giving local spectators a wrestling-style spectacle in the middle of a baseball night.
   

4. Refrigeration issues found at Fort Worth schools in latest Tarrant inspections (star-telegram.com) — Recent Tarrant County health inspections flagged serious refrigeration problems at several Fort Worth ISD elementary schools, forcing them to switch temporarily to prepackaged lunches. The report notes that county inspectors do not cover establishments in Arlington, which has its own inspection system, so Arlington kitchens are not part of these findings. One Forest Hill restaurant also closed voluntarily to address pests and cooling issues.
   

5. Pangos All-South: Camp Veteran Felix Okam Seizes Opportunity (ballislife.com) — North Texas high school and middle school standouts, including Mansfield Summit's Joseph Creal III from Arlington, shined at the Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp in Duncanville. Creal earned MVP honors for his team, while Grand Prairie's Felix Okam captured overall Most Outstanding Player, underscoring the depth of young basketball talent developing just minutes from Arlington.
