• Rangers stay hot, take down Blue Jays (statenews.net) — The Texas Rangers kept their late-season surge going in Arlington, beating the Toronto Blue Jays 6–2 for their sixth win in seven games. Josh Jung homered and later sparked a big sixth inning, while fill-in pitching held Toronto mostly quiet. The win nudged Texas back toward a winning record and kept local playoff hopes alive.
