• Indoor drones, new pistols: How Tarrant cities will use new federal policing grants (star-telegram.com) — Arlington police are getting new Glock pistols with red dot sights through a share of more than $500,000 in new federal public safety grants for Tarrant County. Other funds will expand mental health support on calls and upgrade Fort Worth's crime lab, while North Richland Hills launches indoor drones to reduce risk during building searches. These changes could shape how officers respond across the region.
