• Grand Challah Bake brings women together pre-Rosh Hashanah (jhvonline.com) — More than 200 women recently packed the Bellaire Civic Center for a sold-out Grand Challah Bake organized in part by The Shul of Bellaire. Participants from across the Houston Jewish community made challah together, heard spiritual messages, enjoyed live music, and took time for prayer and tzedakah as they prepared for Rosh Hashanah.
