Cedar Park Has Region's 2nd Highest Rents: Report
The city holds steady from October in its ranking of apartment rental rates in comparison to other Austin metro municipalities.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park held steady this month as the 2nd most expensive city for renters in the Austin region, according to a new analysis.
Officials at Zumper have released the findings of their latest Austin Metro Report showing Cedar Park to be the second-highest in terms of rents in the eight-city study of the fastest-growing costs. The upshot: The price of a one-bedroom unit fell 0.9 percent to a median of $1,120 while two bedroom units drooped 0.7 percent to $1,390, researchers found.
It's the second month in a row that Cedar Park has held the second spot for high rents. In Zumper's October report, rents were found to have grown from the prior month by 2.7 percent for a one-bedroom pad for a median of $1,130. The median for a 2-bedroom unit fell by 0.7 percent to $1,400, researchers found last month.
