Cedar Park approves $4.8M design contract for art collective (communityimpact.com) — Cedar Park has approved a $4.8 million design contract for a new city-owned art collective featuring a 500-seat theater, gallery space, and community gathering areas at Bell and Buttercup Creek boulevards. Funded through Type B sales tax revenue, the project also includes a construction management deal and an arts consultant to shape programming, operations, and long-term cultural planning for residents.
   

2. The Church and JustServe volunteers are working as the Savior would to feed the hungry (thechurchnews.com) — Cedar Park food pantries recently received 40,000 pounds of donated food, unloaded and distributed with help from local Latter-day Saint volunteers at the under-construction Austin Texas Temple site in town. Church members coordinated with 11 area organizations to share the food, highlighting ongoing efforts through JustServe to fight hunger and strengthen community connections in Cedar Park and nearby stakes.

Locals can drop in for open play, reserve courts, or join training sessions, making these nearby spots appealing options for active Cedar Park residents seeking both recreation and community.
   

4. Firefly Aerospace's New Cleanroom Will Accelerate Lunar Production (aero-news.net) — A Cedar Park-based space company, Firefly Aerospace, has finished a much larger cleanroom on its local campus, boosting capacity to build lunar landers and orbital vehicles. Funded by a Texas Space Commission grant, the facility can support up to 12 spacecraft at once and positions Cedar Park as a growing hub in the state's space and defense industry.
