Home Where League City Woman Was Murdered Is Sold

Anne-Christine Johnson's body was found wrapped in plastic in the garage at her ex-husband's home on Chesterfield Lane

LEAGUE CITY, TX -- The home where the body of a League City was discovered wrapped in plastic in December has been sold.

The house on Chesterfield Lane where Shaun Hardy hid his ex-wife’s body in December 2016 sold for between $185,000 and $215,000, according to the HAR.com website.

Anne-Christine Johnson, 30, disappeared on Dec. 7, 2016, when she didn’t show up for a planned dinner with her father, and had missed work that day.

Investigators who were serving a search warrant for cell phones related to the case discovered her body in Hardy’s garage wrapped in plastic, and surrounded by scented candles.

Hardy confessed to the murder, providing investigators with grisly details to the killing that were provided in court records.

Meanwhile, the home, which was on the market only 60 days, listed upgrades were made inside the home.

At the time of the murder, Hardy was leasing the home from a company called Vault Investments.
