Conroe group raising money for statue honoring the Wilkersons (yourconroenews.com) — A local committee in Conroe is raising money for life-size statues of longtime community leaders Dr. Walter "Wally" Wilkerson and his wife, Neddie Jane, to be placed in downtown Conroe's Founders Plaza.
