Magnolia ISD Lifts Lockdown on 4 Campuses After Suspects Caught
Deputies say man wanted on a warrant, and accomplice ran from them at Target store near the schools.

Updated Story 4:07 p.m.: The lockdown on four school campuses in Magnolia ISD was lifted after the suspects police were searching for were caught.
The schools were put on lockdown around 1 p.m. after the district was notified by authorities that they were searching for a suspect in the area.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, SWAT officers tried to pull over a silver Jeep Liberty they believed was being driven by wanted felon, Robert Harris Hamilton, 34.

Hamilton led authorities on a chase and stopped behind a Target store at FM 1488 and FM 2978 near Magnolia, and then ran to a house in the 39200 block of Westwood Square.
A passenger in the Jeep, who was identified as Bonnie Lee Navarro, was taken into custody in the driveway of the home.

SWAT officers forced their way in and arrested Hamilton.
Original Story: MAGNOLIA , TX -- Four Magnolia ISD school campuses in Montgomery County were placed on lockdown this afternoon while law enforcement officials searched for a suspect who ran from them at a Target store near FM 2978 and FM 1488.
Magnolia ISD locked down Bear Branch Elementary, Bear Branch Junior High School, Bear Branch 6th Grade Center and Ellisor Elementary.
Officials said that the lockdown is a precautionary measure as authorities continue to search for a suspect in the area and that once the all clear is given, the lockdown will be lifted.
Other law enforcement agencies are assisting the sheriff’s office and a perimeter has been established.
