He's charged with a third-degree felony and held on bond in Bexar County, while DPS keeps the Capitol open but under watch and urges residents to report suspicious behavior. 
• Man Arrested Over Alleged Texas Capitol Attack Threat (ijr.com) — Authorities arrested a 40-year-old man at his Converse home after what DPS called a credible threat of a violent attack on the Texas Capitol set for October 1, 2026. He faces a felony terroristic threat charge, was briefly jailed in Bexar County, then released on bond with a GPS monitor as security at the Capitol increases during the ongoing investigation.
