City Manager Peter Zanoni says the city has asked TCEQ to reopen the 2001 agreement, which also involves Three Rivers and the Nueces River Authority and hasn't been updated in 25 years.

Student group hosts 'Hold the Line' veteran suicide prevention event this Saturday (kristv.com) — Veterans and their families in Corpus Christi are invited to a free "Hold the Line" suicide prevention and wellness event this Saturday at SOMOS Yoga on Saratoga Boulevard. Hosted by a Texas A&M–Corpus Christi student group, the gathering will offer yoga, therapy activities, battlefield acupuncture, a cold plunge, and free pizza while connecting veterans with mental health resources during Suicide Awareness Month.
   

5. CITGO donates to Coastal Bend Food Bank for second straight year during Hunger Action Month (kristv.com) — Families facing hunger in Corpus Christi and the wider Coastal Bend are getting continued help as the CITGO Corpus Christi Refinery donates again to the Coastal Bend Food Bank for Hunger Action Month. Company employees also volunteered at the food bank, marking the second consecutive year of this support to fight local food insecurity.
