Swimply pool rentals grow in Corpus Christi (kristv.com) — Corpus Christi residents can now beat the heat by renting a neighbor's backyard pool through the Swimply app, including one hosted by local homeowner Nick Thompson. He's been quietly welcoming families for parties and get-togethers, and says the biggest challenge is simply letting more people in Corpus know this private, crowd-free option exists. 
2. How Corpus Christi's water emergency exposed flaws in Texas' water planning (expressnews.com) — Corpus Christi narrowly avoided a severe water shortage this year, exposing how outdated drought models and underfunded planning left the city and Coastal Bend with little warning before reservoirs plunged. Local leaders are now scrambling for new supplies, from groundwater wells to wastewater reuse and debated seawater desalination, while experts urge Texas to modernize water modeling and factor in climate-driven drought risks.
3. Lake Corpus Christi rebounds from record low as visitors return to park (kiiitv.com) — After hitting a record low just months ago, Lake Corpus Christi has rebounded quickly, drawing campers, boaters, and anglers back to Lake Corpus Christi State Park near Mathis. Park staff say water levels, wildlife, and visitor numbers are all surging, with regular programs and events now seeing bigger crowds from surrounding communities, including the Corpus Christi area.

Texas State Volleyball splits remaining games at Southwest Showdown against UTRGV, TAMU-CC (universitystar.com) — Texas State volleyball wrapped up the Southwest Showdown at Texas A&M–Corpus Christi's Dugan Wellness Center with a split weekend, including a four-set win over the Islanders on their home court.
