311 Harmony North Texas Teachers Earn $3.8 Million Through State Teacher Incentive Allotment Program

A total of 311 educators across Harmony Public Schools-North Texas earned state designations through the Texas Education Agency for the 2025-26 academic year, bringing $3.8 million in Teacher Incentive Allotment funding to the district.

The achievement recognizes outstanding classroom performance and measurable student achievement across Harmony’s PK through 12th grade campuses in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Waco.

The Teacher Incentive Allotment is a statewide initiative created to recruit, reward, and retain effective educators. Through locally approved evaluation systems, teachers earn state distinctions based on student academic growth and instructional performance. The designations generate additional funding to support teacher compensation and keep top talent in high-need classrooms.

These educators are being recognized for their instructional skill, dedication to students, and impact on student growth and achievement. Of the 311 Harmony Public Schools-North Texas teachers receiving designations, 258 earned Master or Exemplary designations, the two highest levels in the TIA program.

The breakdown of 2025-26 designations earned across the district includes:

• 120 Master teachers
• 138 Exemplary teachers
• 53 Recognized teachers

"This recognition is really about the teachers," said Area Superintendent Harun Karan. "They show up every day focused on their students, helping them grow and pushing them to reach their potential. We are proud to see their hard work recognized through these designations."
