• Joppa residents upset over data center construction saying there was no notification to residents (wfaa.com) — Joppa residents in southeast Dallas are upset that a new Danik Data Center was built just minutes from their homes without what they feel was proper notice. While city officials say the project fits existing zoning and are awaiting a certificate of occupancy, neighbors worry about noise, water use, and being left out of decisions affecting their community's peace.
   

• Dallas Police Chief Comeaux says he thinks paused Flock camera program 'will come back' (wfaa.com) — Dallas police will soon shut down about half of their Flock license plate cameras after state funding was paused, though Chief Daniel Comeaux believes the program will eventually return. He says remaining cameras and new strategies are helping improve 911 response times and reduce violent crime, while acknowledging privacy concerns and the need to balance staffing between crime prevention and emergency calls.
   

• Mysterious document uncovers another weird twist in Dallas nonprofit's downward spiral (cbsnews.com) — A longtime Dallas nonprofit that once provided after-school meals to Dallas ISD students is now under scrutiny for halted deliveries, disputed leadership, and questionable spending of donated funds. Court filings, bank records, and a mysterious leadership document raise fresh questions about who controls Hunger Busters and what happened to money intended to feed local children.
