Hosted by Surti Leuva Patidar Samaj and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dallas, the event highlighted community unity, volunteerism, and preserving harmony for future generations, with several visiting swamis joining local leaders.
• Tynisha Jackson joins Spectrum News 1 Dallas (blogspot.com) — Dallas viewers will soon see a familiar North Texas face on Spectrum News 1, as Arlington native Tynisha Jackson joins the Dallas newsroom as a multimedia journalist and reporter. She's returning home after reporting and anchoring in Roanoke, Virginia, and earlier work in Mississippi and at Texas State University.
• Osaze Urhoghide scores goal, Dallas beats LAFC 1-0 (cbsnews.com) — FC Dallas supporters can celebrate another strong performance, as Osaze Urhoghide's first-half header and Jonathan Sirois' three saves lifted Dallas to a 1-0 win over LAFC, stretching an unbeaten run to six. The club now sits second in the Western Conference and heads to Charlotte on October 10.
