Award Winning Artwork Unveiled In Downtown Dallas
The Catholic Foundation Plaza will feature the artwork for a year.

DALLAS, TX -- The Catholic Foundation has announced the winner of the 2018 "A Year on the Plaza" art competition. Emily Holman Morris' “Windows to the City" was unveiled on the 28-by-9-foot public art wall in The Catholic Foundation Plaza Oct. 17 and will remain on display for one year, the organization said in a news release.
Morris artwork "celebrates not only the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe’s architecture, but also the city of Dallas and its attractions," the foundation wrote.
“Emily’s artwork is a beautiful compliment to the Plaza, the Cathedral, the Arts District and our city,” J. Matthew Kramer, president and CEO of The Catholic Foundation, said in the news release. “We hope both residents and tourists alike will enjoy the display as much as we do. Congratulations to Emily and to all of the artists who submitted their creative work for the competition.”
