Some Lanes Of High Five Reopen After Tanker Crash
The closure of the entire U.S. 75 and I-635 exchange has most of north Dallas in a gridlock.
DALLAS, TX — Drivers are seeing delays of up to two hours Thursday morning after a tanker crash closed the entire High Five exchange between U.S. 75 and I-635.
TxDOT announced around 10:30 a.m. that main eastbound lanes of LBJ (I-635) and eastbound TEXpress lanes had reopened at U.S. 75. N. Central Expressway (75) remains closed.
KXAS reports the closures began around 4:30 a.m. when a truck hauling a hazardous fuel overturned and spilled its contents across an elevated ramp.

The closure only affected a ramp, but as the morning progressed, all lanes and ramps on the exchange were closed.
The news station reports an specialized contractor has been called in to clean up the fuel.
