Lockdown Lifted At Everman HS After Possible Armed Person Seen
The high school was placed on lockdown around 10:45 a.m. Friday.

EVERMAN, TX -- A lockdown has been lifted at Everman High School Friday morning after a possible armed person was reported on campus, according to reported. The lockdown was issued around 10:45 a.m., according to tweets from Star-Telegram reporter Stephen English. Everman is located at 1000 Race St.
The lockdown was lifted around 12:10 p.m., English tweeted.
"Male dug in a dumpster nearby and retrieved unknown object which he put in his pocket. He never entered the school or walked onto the campus," English added on Twitter.

At about 11:15 a.m. English tweeted, "Police tell me that the person armed with a gun never entered the school. This is Everman PD with an assist from Fort Worth PD south units, including tactical medical."
A request for comment has been placed with Everman ISD and Everman Police.
