National Tequila Day: How To Celebrate In Dallas

DALLAS, TX — Salt, lime, summer weather and tequila are all you need to make National Tequila Day a success in Dallas. Oh and, of course, somewhere to do the drinking.

Mi Dia From Scratch

All Mi Dia From Scratch locations will celebrate National Tequila Day with can't-miss festive tequila specials. On Tuesday, July 24, the Mexican restaurant will be featuring their $30 and $50 select premium Tequila Flights and will be offering a special price, ranging from $8 to $10, on Infused Flights all day to promote their house-infused tequilas.

The Rustic

Join The Rustic in celebrating a fantastic tequila fiesta. On Tuesday, July 24, the Uptown eatery is celebrating the beloved holiday with a special Tacos & Tequilas flight. For just $17.95, enjoy three Joe Leo tacos and three samples of Tequila Cazadores. Once you’ve finished that, swing over to the bar and try the Cazadores Lemon Drop Rita – with a whole shot of tequila placed on top!

Of course, no National Tequila Day celebration is complete without some live music. Starting at 6:30 p.m., a local mariachi band will take the stage to perform the authentic sounds of Mexico. Stick around for San Antonio-native, Allan Hendrickson as he plays a variety of captivating, country tunes at 8:30 p.m.

Stampede 66 by Stephan Pyles

On Tuesday, July 24, the restaurant known for Modern Texas cuisine will have an array of specials on select tequila-based cocktails and tequilas. All Espólon Tequilas, Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, and all Tanteo Flavors, Chipotle and Jalapeño, will be half-priced. Discounted margaritas will include the Sumer Sandia, made of Espólon Blanco Tequila, Watermelon, Peach, Lime, and House Chamoy, the Passion-Chile Margarita, which includes Espólon Tequila, Triple Sec, Passion Fruit, Jalapeño, and Lime, and the Modern Star Canyon Margarita, featuring Hornitos Plata Tequila, Patron Citronage, Prickly Pear, Lime and Candied Jalapeño.

Special pricing will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the bar area and will be extended to 10:00 p.m. for the national holiday. Although specials for National Tequila Day will be taking place, the regular menus will still be available.
