Last week, the City of Dallas revealed that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency would be flying an aircraft at low altitudes to survey the areas over Fair Park/Cotton Bowl and downtown Dallas on June 3.
That is just one of the preparations regional law enforcement agencies are taking ahead of the nine FIFA World Cup 2026 matches the city is scheduled to host at Dallas Stadium starting on June 14.
Those matches include five group stage games, knockout rounds, and a semi-final to be held on July 14. According to FIFA, the Statue of Liberty could fit inside the Dallas Stadium with the roof closed.
